Germany 2006

was quite touched today by something.. but then again, i am easily touched by the slightest actions. may not mean much to others..

i brought my jacket to my office finally, so now i can wear it and stop shivering especially after coming back from the toilet. i will probably leave it here for 16 months till the day i leave the place. dun think i need to wash it rite, since air-con environment, how dirty/smelly can it get.

boss is back today..and tomorrow got a meeting to discuss about the next 5 year plan and review the previous 5 years! omg, i can't fit myself anywhere in the timeline, how to discuss? hopefully i don't have to go, but i doubt so, cos boss may want me to go with him. Somemore tomorrow on duty, not supposed to leave the camp for the whole day and night... sighz see how tomorrow lah.



now's the world cup season! check out the official website. from 9 Jun to 9 July. the betting booths are also crowded with lots of people, though i doubt u can win much from soccer bets. from what i heard and gathered, there are many ways of gamble in this soccer bet. u can either bet which team wins; bet how many goals the winning team is in favour; bet how many goals there are althogether in the game etc. Errm, before u think i am a gambler, well i am not and i should not after all that i have been thru, and neither am i that interested.

i first watched world cup in 1990 italy, when i was in pri sch, and i remembered last time i used to have this sticker book and we will buy packets of stickers with footballers on them and we will try to complete the whole book. my fav team was argentina then. they were in the finals but lost.

1994- i was in sec sch and i remembered quite a lot of us were like late for the art lessons (1st 2 lessons) then. and i remembered the art teacher was quite a bore and irritating, making us paint some nonsense.

1998- france. can't remember much, just knew that they won in their own country. croatia was my fav then, cos they were relatively new in this area but nice shots!

2002- probably the most vibe and hype world cup around in this region, cos it was held in Korea-Japan, and finally we can watch in the day (not waking up in the middle of the night to watch)cos of the minor time difference. brazil won for the 5th time in history.

and now 2006. quite fast come to think of it, though 4 years seem long by figure.
