KL
this is gonna be sort of a journal entry just for me to revisit in future, so may not be too interesting i reckon.back to work after a hiatus of 10 days. yup took 8 days of my annual leave to study for my exam in KL. just came back from KL yesterday with 3 of my friends. the paper was damn tough and i hope they will moderate the marks accordingly. i guess this will probably make me perturb for a couple of days sighz. but i guess the process of planning to go up to KL for exams together with your friends can be quite an enjoyable one.
left for KL on monday morning on the grassland coach and i was surprised that there wasn't any toilet. dammit! i tot we purposely booked one that has such facilities... and i remembered reading it off the website (which now has somehow disappeared) and the lady whom we called told us too. this sort of compromise the journey in a way.
reached times square at around 2pm; had lunch and checked in to this hotel crystal crown at pertaling jaya at quite a reasonable rate (4 of us squeezed into one room heh..)
next day was exam at 2pm and it lasted for 6 hours with a break in between. tiring man! and post-exam, don's uncle brought us for a sumptuous dinner - had chilli crabs and huge prawns! had some card games after that and slept at 4.
wed - woke up quite late; and till now i am still quite tired yawnzz. went to KLCC (equivalent to singapore's suntec) to shop and eat. went to this penang food outlet and taste quite yummy as compared to those served in the hotel restaurant. had fried kuay teow- my long-awaited craving hahah. took the 6h long coach back to golden mile complex and had dinner-supper there - some steamboat thingy.
so overall, other than the exam part, it is quite a nice break from office and work; and i think we should really organise more of such short trips in between months before we go back to hospital where opportunities are lesser.
the view outside our hotel room.. not too pictureque i know, but one thing for sure is that people staying in KL are generally quite well-to-do.
currently down with conjunctivitis. most likely bcos i slept with my contact lenses on yesterday. i tot the eye will recover after a few hours but apparently it is rather persistent. sighzz.
