MiO
i had the MiO subscription done today for free. it is some sort of promotion to encourage more people to have it installed so as to boost sales in the long run. anyway i got a call from singtel the other day asking whether i am interested to install the MiO TV or not for free, and bundled with it include:1) the MiO TV control
2) a wireless modem
since i dun have to pay anything, and i can have the modem, i have to agree to it. basically u only need to pay when u subscribe to the new channels, rent the movies or buy the movies to watch.
quite cool! at least my mum can watch those stuff if she is really bored at home. must teach her how to use the control.
now i have an extra router and an extra wired modem. anyone interested? the router is branded one (LINKSYS) and is almost brand new; the modem is also in working condition.
