i wasted 3 hours of my time...

i got my traineeship!

my friend smsed me yesterday and told me that he got his traineeship, so i sort of suspect that the result of other specialties should also be out soon, especially when internal med had conducted their selection interview first. but then i din really bother much yesterday (was busy studying anyway). then today another friend whom applied for internal med told me that he got his too! so i quickly rushed down to open my letterbox and to my dismay there were only 5 leaflets of rubbish and nothing else! dammitt i tot either 1)i wasn't selected; 2)i might receive the letter late; or 3)it got undelivered =(

so i was feeling kinda disappointed, but yet still have to practise my online MCQs.. sighhz sighxxx so demoralising. then after 3 hours, i decided to take a walk (in my living room) and realised that some of my letters were lying on the table! brrady hell..made me worried for nothing!! hated this situation yet it happened to me so very often.. err maybe not that often.. but to important events at least.

still remembered many years back when i was still in the army right after JC. it was the period when u know whether or not you have been admitted to med faculty, so since we couldn't book out, i had to call home every day to ask my mum if there were any letters.. and every time it would be a no. Even till the day when all my friends had known that they have been accepted except me!!!

well anyway i NEVER got the letter. i called the university the very day i booked out and asked whether i was accepted or not. and i rushed down immediately to receive the letter (a duplicated copy) by hand. woooh!

so the lesson learnt is: never ever overestimate the delivering capability in Singapore!

and congrats to all my friends who got their traineeship of various specialities too! =) one step nearer to our dreams ain't it?
