Got the album yesterday and it is now the album that will accompany my journey to work and back home =)
haven't been posting much these days cos have been rather busy during and after office hours. and have been down with upper respiratory tract infection for the past 2 weeks, even now i dun think i have fully recovered yet despite my final dose of Klacid today.
life has been rather different these days under a new boss, who don't really care about the welfare of his subordinates. and it is only with comparison that one realises how good the previous boss was. but too bad we can't really rewind the time, and we can't relive the history.
1)imagine a boss who tells you on monday to get a piece of assignment done by friday; and calls you on wednesday morning to tell u that instead he wants that assignment by lunchtime on the very day! and btw it's not just one assignment to be done. 2)imagine a boss who calls u suddenly and says he wants a meeting now. 3)imagine a boss who tells u to bring work home to do.
anyway my stand is quite clear. i am counting the days to ord; and when office work is concerned, it remains in the office. in fact i don't think we are allowed to bring confidental/secret stuff home. and the time to knock off remains at 5.30pm; i dun think we are paid well enough for us to work overtime with no extra cash, not to mention that this is not really considered as my job per se. but then again, despite my grunting about my new boss, i must agree that he is really quite an elite in this field.
the dream phone! Nokia N95 series with 5 MP camera and cool look and function! but the camera part means that i can only get it in october....arrrgh

cool isn't it? i heard the retail price as of now is around $1250.. kinda steep for a phone. hopefully the price will drop more when i decide to buy it =)
* wasn't feeling too well these days; have been sick for 1 week oredi! quite a bad URTI, and the whole family is down with this bug. i suspect it is one of those atypical bacteria. perhaps i should start myself a course of klacid or the high class azithromycin. And not to mention that nowadays there are so many things to do at work! this reorg is starting to drive me crazy...

* and to those of you who haven't watched "just follow law" by fann wong and gurmit singh, i suggest u spend 2 hours and 7 bucks on it, especially for those working in the govt sector. As usual, jack neo's production always reflects the reality in our lives; and shares jokes that singaporeans will understand. The arrows shooting part, black n white and the cc/bcc part are really very true!.. something which i learn to appreciate as i slowly adapt into this organisation; and unfortunately i have to admit that i do this sometimes (not always) as well. i guess that's the way to survive in this working environment. if u have a query and u email someone, most of the times u don't get a reply/ the reply comes quite late. if u have a query and u email someone and u cc his boss, u get the reply almost immediately. A new skill learnt, isn't it?
