rockets
had a meetup with st (or better known as irving nowadays) today and one seventh of the class turned up... well the five of us knew one another since secondary 3 and a long way more to go! we went to wild rocket at mount emily for dinner.
The place.
secluded, quiet, cosy and peaceful, 15 mins walk away from the bustling town of orchard road. nice ambience, but i would recommend driving or cabbing there. a few parking lots but so long u can find a space along the road, parking shouldn't be a problem and i dun think fatimah or ali will come all the way up the hill to give u a summon.
The food.
we ordered spaghetti for our main course. it tasted satisfactory and ordinary, though i feel that the serving can be bigger with more meat. the dessert is tasty - in fact this would be what i recommend. we had a round of different kind that they can offer, from chocolate lava cake, strawberry cheesecake, champagne jelly, etc. my personal fave is the chocolate lava. the smell alone is intoxicating and the sight of chocolate fillings oozing out from the cake is salivatating.
