first week
finally i have worked for one week in ttsh.still trying my best to adapt myself to the environment and systems there.
and i am glad that my audora is able to work now, though i still hate the idea of having to triplicate my work (i.e: write my orders in the casesheet; in the IMR and key in audora).
the good thing is - the phlebotomist will have to take most of the blood.
the bad thing is - the phlebotomist may miss out bloods to be taken, which gives us additional job to ensure that bloods are already taken. the phlebotomist can say "i can't take the blood cos difficult veins.." which i find quite ridiculous. or at least, if they think it is difficult, they should ask other phlebotomists for help rather than us. it is like a teacher who decides not to teach a class becos that's a difficult class to teach. hmm.
it has been quite an eventful week, in the sense that we moved around wards, covering different wards everyday and need to know different patients every day for the first few days becos we are out-of-phase (since we just come out from the army). sighz should have taken my first three days off so that i can be in-sync with the rest of the MOs.
hope my subsequent weeks can be better and more fruitful, and hope that i still have the energy to keep up with my knowledge.
will be having my first ever call this tuesday after two long years! wish me good luck!
